SolarEdge, an Israeli-based solar panel and energy company, App is the perfect tool for homeowners with solar panels. It provides a wealth of information about your system's energy output, including an overview of your system's performance, energy savings, and carbon footprint. With smart widgets that make the information more readable for non-power users, you can easily see how much energy is produced and how much money has been saved.
In this application design, we were tasked with creating a user-friendly, informative, and modern-looking app design for SolarEdge.
This design was chosen as the winner among the designs by SolarEdge judges.
Modern and user-friendly visual pages that tell a story, making it easy to understand
solar panel data. Users can swipe through dynamic visuals, similar to social media
stories, to quickly see how their solar panels are performing, how much energy
they are producing, usage trends, and cost savings. This new way of presenting
data in the solar energy industry makes complex information easy to understand
and interesting for a wider audience, including those who may not be familiar with
technical details.
User Interface
The main goal of this design was to be simple and informative for the user's most everyday needs with a new screen and widgets designed to display information concisely and simply.
The new widgets display several different information, energy production, consumption, costs and different solar panel statuses.
